"Making a difference for people with developmental disabilities"

Adult Services

A variety of day program services for adults with intellectual disabilities are offered at Central Aroostook Association. These individualized programs include both center and community-based activities. Adult Services offers activities to promote self-maintenance, physical fitness, self-motivation, social skills, behavioral skills, safety and independent problem solving.  The program also promotes integration of developmental skills necessary for semi or independent daily living.  Staff works with health providers to meet individual needs while at day program.  In addition, staff will often receive training specific to the needs of each individual.
