Residential Services

Article-Resdl Services-clipart
Residential Services is designed to provide adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities a home-like environment within homes owned and maintained by Central Aroostook Association.

As of January 2012, the association has six homes throughout Presque Isle and Caribou. Each home has two to four residents, a Home Supervisor who is either present or on-call 24/7, and around-the-clock supervision from direct support personnel.

The adults who make their home with our Residential Services program are provided with individualized programs designed to promote their independence and provide opportunities for daily community involvement that work around their activities for daily living. Consistent encouragement to develop social, self-help, motor and community skills is also an integral part of the daily support the individuals receive.

Residential homes also provide transportation and administration of medicines.
